Everest Region Gokyo and KalaPatar Trek Altitude 5545 m. | | | | We are back in sunny England again and wanted to say thank you for making our holiday such a memorable one. We appreciate all the hard work and time that you both spent with us and organizing our trip. Your services are brilliant. If any potential customers would like a reference or want to ask us any questions we'll be very happy to help. Dhanyabad! | | Kirsty Board, Stephen Monahan & groups. Wales, UK | | This trek has "everything". The fitter walker can get very close to Mt. Everest on this trek, ascending Kala Patthar for the finest views of the whole massif including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse & Pumori. An ideal trek for those wising to make the full Everest trek, yet who also have an interest in the local traditions and culture. | | This trek offers an alternative to the traditional trek to Everest base camp. Climb past the Sherpa villages of Namche Bazaar and Khumjung to the Gokyo Valley and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in the Nepal Himalaya. From Gokyo Ri four 8000-metre peaks (Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu) are visible at once. And cross the Cho La pass to arrive Lobuche for EBC- Kalapather ( if weather seems not good or group decide not to cross Cho la pass than descend to Phortse, make a high traverse to the village of Pangboche and climb on towards Everest Base Camp & Kalapather) The return route leads through Dingboche and the monastery of Tengpoche before descending the Khumbu Valley to Lukla. | | |
