Testimonial: If my mother wanted to visit Nepal, I would just have her let Jiban know what she was interested in and when she would arrive. That's it. He will take care of the rest - and the price will be more than reasonable. I took six people to Nepal several years ago and when it came time to settle up, I argued -- that we should pay more!...........

Eastern Nepal
Arun Valley - Everest BC

Altitude 5545m.
This remote & rewarding trek to Everest Base Camp start in the subtropical low land or 'Tarai' of Nepal, crosses the Mahabharat range and enjoys excellent views of Kanchenjunga & Everest as it enters the very heart of eastern Nepal. As we descend to the Arun river, our interest focuses on the people. Limbus, Rais were the earliest settlers, although now there are also many Chettris, Brahmins & Tibetans, living traditionally in medieval villages. Leaving the valley we have some challenging days as we used rarely trodden trails through some of Nepal's most beautiful forests. The passes offer tremendous views of Mera peak & Chamlang (7319m.) from this spectacular wilderness we enter the Dodh Kosi valley & head north to our final destination. We spend several day acclimatizing amongst the fabulous Khumbu Panoramas before trekking to the glaciers & peaks above base camp with their magnificent morning views of the summit of Everest. Here, Amadablam, Taweche, Pumori, Nuptse, Lothse & Everest provide the highest panorama on earth.
